Coach for Children with Learning Difficulties
Providing gifted and struggling individuals with a new perspective on their learning experiences, empowering them to achieve what they thought would not be possible.
The skill of learning is considered from the viewpoint of the individual with learning difficulties.
Hereby giving them the opportunity to develop a positive mental and emotional state which makes learning easier.
The aim is to improve many learning difficulties including Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dyspraxia, Aspergers and ADHD.
My aim is to offer gifted and struggling individuals a completely new perspective on their current experience of learning difficulties, empowering them to achieve what they thought was impossible.
Who will benefit?
– Students with poor spelling, reading and comprehension
– Students who have Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, ADHD, Aspergers, etc
My learners are taught how to transition from feeling discouraged, frustrated, anxious and angry to developing positive mental and emotional states, which makes it easier to learn.
Children are taught the key skills of ‘Mental Imagery’, which are necessary for literacy and numeracy. It is a natural skill we use in most areas of life, but is also the missing link for many students struggling with their learning.
In recognising that struggling learners always have untapped, unrecognised or uncontrolled gifts to bring to the world, the intention is to make it easy for them to access learning. Struggling learners discover talents they didn’t know they had and use them for spelling, reading, Maths, concentration et al.
My aim is to offer gifted and struggling individuals a completely new perspective on their current experience of learning difficulties, empowering them to achieve what they thought was impossible. This helps to accelerate a pupil’s learning.
